Prescription compounding and retail is a rapidly growing component of many prescribers’ practices.

Ask your prescriber about personalized medicine, then get in touch with us. We are committed to providing high-quality compounded and retail medications in the proper dosage form and strength to fit your needs.

A compounding pharmacist can consult with your healthcare provider about ways to personalize a medication to meet your needs. Through the triad relationship of patient, physician and pharmacist, all three can work together to solve unique medical problems.

Limited Side-Effects

Traditional oral medications are digested, then flow throughout the body via the bloodstream. This means they can alter other body systems and/or inhibit the effectiveness of other treatments.

Our topical creams breech the derma to reach receptors below the skin, but have very limited access to the bloodstream. Because of this, any side effects are generally limited to the application area.

Allergy-Friendly

A patient may be allergic to or intolerant of an ingredient commonly found in the commercially manufactured form of a medication. Suitable replacements, free of dyes, starch, yeast, sugar, and preservatives are easily formulated.

Hundreds of medicines are voluntarily withdrawn from the market each year. Pharmaceutical companies stop supplying them because of low demand, increase in the cost of production, or lack of resources. A compounded replacement may be possible.

What is Compounding

Posted on: May 12th, 2014 by Jeffarteaga

Pharmaceutical compounding is the process of creating customized medications for patients by mixing individual ingredients, at specified doses and strengths, for the desired effects. Innovations in component isolation and advancements in technology have streamlined the entire process. Because each batch is made exclusively for each patient, ingredients, flavoring, and/or method of use, can be substituted. More and more doctors rely on personalized medicine to treat their patients because compounding allows the creation of optimal unique medicines that meet specific care needs while eliminating conventional challenges. Executive Pharmacy is one of the few pharmacies accredited by PCAB/ACHC (Accreditation Commission for Health Care).

Executive Pharmacy uses different components with different mechanisms of action and mixes them into a single compounded cream.
Our creams contain the active ingredients you take orally, but are amalgamated into an easily applicable, topical ointment.
Topical Creams are not a manufactured product, therefore not stocked. Each is made specifically for the patient, by prescription, at our state-of-the-art laboratory.
